Sorry if I'm repeating my self here, but for those who are hard of hearing, I am not Douglas, Douglas is not me, we do not have the same IP address, I don't have access to Douglas's computer; as far as I know Douglas does not have access to mine, and Douglas and I do not correspond with one another. In the 'real' world, as opposed to this virtual internet world, there is only one person who knows I'm even commenting on this situation; my girlfriend, and as she's not that interested in all this, it's highly unlikely that she has discussed this with anyone else or left any anonymous comments regarding this matter.
Jane Smith has claimed that Douglas and I have both posted comments using the same IP addresses; one registered in Brentwood and the other in Edinburgh. I don't see how this is possible, but if it were, and he and I were clever enough with computers to master this, surely we wouldn't then be stupid enough to use are own names when leaving comments from each others IP addresses?Apparently Douglas lives in the Scottish borders so it's quite possible that his IP address is registered in Edinburgh, I live in Essex, (work in Surrey), so it's also possible that my IP address is registered in Brentwood. In a recent comment by Doug Cheadle(on his blog),an anonymous someone called Barry, (referred to as 'Brian' by Doug?), has also left a comment from an IP address in Brentwood, and according to Jane Smith's 'Sitemeter' it's my IP address, (217.44.136)! I know from Doug Cheadle's close contact with Jane Smith that, if this is my IP address, he would know of it, so why then would I bother posting, (with his approval), anonymously from this same IP address; I might not have a University education, but I'm not stupid!
Either Cheadle or Smith don't know how to read the information supplied by 'sitemeter', (I don't have one so I don't know what that information is); in which case we must put their errors down to ignorance, (despite the fact that I asked Jane to check and check again), or they're lying!
PS. An anonymous person has commented on my spelling, implying that the mistakes made were deliberate in order to disguise the fact that I'm more educated than I claim. You may have noticed there are no spelling mistakes this time, but if there are, then blame them on 'Spellchecker'!
