Why Do I Care?

"I think Shears is either Douglas himself, a close friend of Douglas's, or nothing more than an internet troll who is enjoying the rumpus.", an anonymous comment left on Nik Perring's blog.



Surely to suggest that I'm anything other than Douglas, is to suggest that Jane Smith and Doug Cheadle are liars? Apparently that's libelous, good job you posted anonymously, eh?

I wouldn't describe myself as an internet troll, but merely,(OMG there's that word again), an outside observer. I genuinely stumbled in here by accident, I read a little bit from one page, and thought this looks interesting, so I read more, and more, and more, and the more I read, the more I realized the inconsistent allegations against Douglas just didn't add up, and this was nothing more than a witch-hunt, led by a few 'well respected pillars of this community', and followed blindly by the rest. One blind follower commented, "I always thought Douglas was a bit sneaky", well I don't believe you did, it would appear nobody thought ill of Douglas until his 'mentor' Vannesa Gebbie turned on him.
I left some comments here and there, in the hope that one or two of the blind followers might at least take the time to look more deeply in to the allegations and more importantly read Douglas's defence of those allegations. Having made my gesture, I probably would have just walked away, and forgotten all about it, but then Jane Smith and Doug Cheadle openly LIED about my identity, claiming Douglas and I share the same IP address, (same computer), which begs the question you should all ask yourselves, WHY? I can understand why Douglas would be desperate to clear his name, but I can't understand why Jane and Doug are so desperate to blacken it, (or mine?)!
